The project involves the development of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Hospitals and the University Teaching Hospital (SZSZBMK) in order to increase patient safety, in accordance with point 3.1 of the call. We plan to develop the organizational culture, improve the knowledge of health professionals and health professionals in infection control, and strengthen the approach to risk assessment and risk management. We wish to transfer the knowledge base available to our infection control specialists and members of the infection control mobile tea to the health and health workers involved in the project, to patients and their relatives. We ensure the participation of our specialists in the national events and training programs organised in the field of infection control. We will introduce the infection control contact system. Under the direction of the Head of Unit of the Hygiene Department, we organise the training of infection control contact points. Once the risk assessment process for infections has been developed, the risk assessment data sheet will be introduced. We revise, update and implement the procedures of the Infection Control Manual, and we develop care packages that meet the methodological recommendations of the 4 most common nosocomial infections, preparing the procedures. Employees sensitive to the knowledge acquired through the approach of risk recognition will be able to recognise the critical points of care (e.g. invasive interventions, treatment of surgical wounds during nursing processes, antibiotic use, patient placement). Following the identification and documentation of the risks, the necessary measures will be imposed in accordance with the revised regulations. Regular feedback on the follow-up and discussions at the meetings of the Institute’s Infection Control and Antibiotic Committee will be made to inpatient units. By conducting the local communication campaign, we ensure the transfer of new knowledge and the development of the approach by informing both healthcare professionals, staff in hospital support services, patients and the general public involved in professional implementation. By purchasing 132 large and low-value devices and additional materials, we ensure the implementation of effective infection control. In order to achieve the project’s target system, in addition to the mandatory tasks of infection control, the planned interventions and types of activities are as follows: — Preparation of a professional plan — Preparation and implementation of public procurement — Provision of medical technology activity — Provision of project management — Provision of horizontal requirements — Provision of information and publicity The effective implementation of the project in accordance with the procedural environment regulated in the administrative and legislative environment is provided within its own organisational framework requiring support, by human resources performing activities in the framework of a public employee relationship. The provision of publicity throughout the implementation cycle is continuous, in accordance with the provisions of the Széchenyi 2020 Identity Guide and Beneficiaries’ Information Obligations. Amount of aid claimed: HUF 59 999 950 gross (100 % intensity). Date of implementation of the project: 2019.10.01.-2018.09.30. (12 months). Express a sense of opportunity in public events related to development, communication and behaviour of the developer. (English) | |||||||||||||||

A projekt megvalósításának ideje: 2019.10.01.-2018.09.30. (Hungarian)
