The aim of the project is to: Increase the social integration of elderly and disabled people into society. In order to achieve this objective, the target is to: Improve the socio-cultural services provided in Švenčionys Social Services Centre. During the implementation of the project, employment, educational cognitive and cultural activities of elderly and disabled people will be carried out, volunteer trainings, acquired equipment, improved socio-cultural services will be provided. 20 people with disabilities and the elderly will participate in the project’s activities, who will strengthen their contacts, create new acquaintances, feel equal, necessary, recognised and important. The trained volunteer will help participants to communicate and solve social and spiritual problems, organise their employment and leisure. The project activities will be published in the local press and Facebook social network, on the website. The project will be carried out by Švenčionys Social Services Centre together with Švenčionys District Disabled Society. This is a great opportunity to involve grassroots organisations in the overall framework of social services as equal partners. (English) | |||||||||||||||

Projekto tikslas yra: Padidinti pagyvenusių ir neįgalių žmonių socialinę integraciją į visuomenę. Šiam tikslui pasiekti numatomas uždavinys: Gerinti teikiamas sociokultūrines paslaugas Švenčionių socialinių paslaugų centre. Projekto įgyvendinimo metu bus vykdoma pagyvenusių ir neįgalių žmonių užimtumo, edukacinė pažintinė ir kultūrinė veikla, organizuojami savanorių mokymai, įgyta įranga, teikiamos pagerintos sociokultūrinės paslaugos. Projekto veiklose dalyvaus 20 neįgaliųjų ir senyvo amžiaus asmenų, kurie sustiprins tarpusavio ryšius, užmegs naujas pažintis, pasijus lygiaverčiais, reikalingais, pripažintais ir svarbiais. Apmokytas savanoris padės projekto dalyviams bendrauti ir spręsti socialines, dvasines problemas, organizuos jų užimtumą ir laisvalaikį. Projekto veiklos bus viešinamos vietinėje spaudoje ir Facebook socialiniame tinkle, internetinėje svetainėjė. Projektą vykdys Švenčionių socialinių paslaugų centras kartu su Švenčionių rajono neįgaliųjų draugija. Tai puiki galimybė įtraukti visuomenines organizacijas į bendrą socialinių paslaugų sistemą, kaip lygiaverčius partnerius. (Lithuanian)
