During the project, Jurbarkas District Municipality will use the land plots transferred on the basis of the project (Lauko str. 18, Jurbarkas m.; Summer Str. 1, Jurbarkas; Nemuno st. 83A, Smalininkai m.) is planned to build 3 group living houses (GGN) of 10 seats each. The built GGN will accommodate 30 people from the Adakava Social Service House (Adakavo SPN). In order to increase the employability of people with intellectual disabilities and/or mental disabilities in the open market, to develop and maintain general and special skills, it is planned to create the right conditions for daytime employment and social workshops aimed at providing laundry services. Daytime employment activities would be carried out in existing premises, and social workshops’ activities would include the repair of premises and the purchase of the necessary equipment and furniture. After the implementation of the project, 12 people will participate in the activities of the social workshops and 18 people will visit the day-to-day employment centre. The project will provide an opportunity to reorganise the social care institution Adakavo SPN, housing the target group in communities and developing community-based social services, thus ensuring the conditions necessary for an effective and sustainable transition from institutional care to family and community-based services.     Projekto metu Jurbarko rajono savivaldybei panaudos pagrindais perduotuose žemės sklypuose (Lauko g. 18, Jurbarko m.; Vasaros g. 1, Jurbarko m.; Nemuno g. 83A, Smalininkų m.) numatoma pastatyti 3 grupinio gyvenimo namus (GGN) po 10 vietų kiekviename. Pastatytuose GGN bus apgyvendinta 30 asmenų iš Adakavo socialinių paslaugų namų (Adakavo SPN). Siekiant didinti proto negalią ir (ar) psichikos sutrikimų turinčių asmenų įsidarbinimo atviroje rinkoje galimybes, lavinti ir palaikyti bendruosius ir specialiuosius įgūdžius, projekto įgyvendinimo metu planuojama sudaryti tinkamas sąlygas dienos užimtumo ir socialinių dirbtuvių, nukreiptų į skalbimo paslaugų teikimą, veikloms. Dienos užimtumo veiklos būtų vykdomos jau įrengtose patalpose, o socialinių dirbtuvių veiklai numatoma remontuoti patalpas bei įsigyti būtiną įrangą ir baldus. Įgyvendinus projektą socialinių dirbtuvių veikloje dalyvaus 12 asmenų, dienos užimtumo centre lankysis 18 asmenų. Įgyvendinus projektą bus sudaryta galimybė pertvarkyti socialinės globos įstaigą Adakavo SPN, apgyvendinant tikslinės grupės asmenis bendruomenėse ir kuriant bendruomenines socialines paslaugas, tokiu būdu užtikrinant sąlygas, reikalingas veiksmingam ir tvariam perėjimui nuo institucinės globos prie šeimoje ir bendruomenėje teikiamų paslaugų.
