The project “Discover yourself” will be implemented throughout the country, i.e. the activities of the project will be carried out in the territory of all municipalities. The project will be carried out by the Employment Service together with partners: 57 Partners selected in accordance with the procedure approved by Order No 2V-47-(1.4) of the Director of the JRD and the Director of the JRD of 18 March 2015 approving the provisions for the selection of partners for the implementation of the Youth Guarantee scheme (the list is publicly available at www.jrd.lt). The project will implement early intervention and activation measures provided for in the Youth Guarantee Implementation Plan, approved by Order No A1-692 of the Minister for Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania of 16 December 2013 approving the plan for the implementation of the Youth Guarantee and ensuring the provision of primary intervention services to both inactive and registered young people at the Employment Service, taking into account the individual needs of young people and applying various forms of youth work, non-formal education methods that encourage motivation to work/teach, increase self-confidence and responsibility, allowing to become more aware of themselves, revealing their strengths and weaknesses. The target group of the project is young people aged 15-29 who are not in employment, education or training (7523 non-registered in the Employment Service 15-29 year olds, 23.635 registered unemployed persons aged 16-29). Inactive young people will be provided with social, pedagogical, psychological and motivation services in youth and youth working organisations — project partners. Participants of the project will be able to participate in volunteering or youth motivation to integrate into the labour market and/or education system, which will help to acquire personal, social, professional competences, prepare to return to the education system or integrate into the labour market. Motivated unemployed people will be given opportunities to integrate into the labour market by providing the skills and competences they lack. (English)

(Lithuanian)
