Using evidencebased methods in the work of strengthening the link between school and working life and giving opportunities for target groups to create a long-term sustainable situation in the labor market is becoming increasingly important. The project is based on experience from projects employable and national and international research. The working methods we will test in the project must be evidence-based and have a base in the individual’s needs as well as the authorities’ resources and opportunities for implementation. The evidence-based methods we choose to work with in this project are Supported Education in combination with Supported Employment, Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and the Boston model. The project will test which of these methods shows the best results for the individual and which also has the greatest chance of being implemented and becoming a long-term sustainable method to use in Skellefteå. In the project, we will put together three reference groups with participants who will receive support according to the three methods. The individual’s wishes must guide the choice of intervention. Each group will consist of 5 women and 5 men and a total of 30 people will participate in the test activities. Staff at Urkraft, Psychiatry and Skellefteå municipality will be responsible for the work with the target groups and will together test and evaluate the methods’ results and results. The project will then create conditions in consultation with participating collaboration actors to scale up the business and test the selected method (s) on a larger scale. (English)
