BDUrotatiedruk B.V. is a rotating printing company with 43 employees specialising in printing and finishing door-to-door newspapers in large editions. In the printing industry, we have been dealing with lower prices for many years and the need to work more efficiently with fewer people. Due to the rapidly changing needs of our customers, we are changing dramatically as a printing company. Flexibility, speed, quality and reliability are necessary in order to survive. As a result, our employees experience more pressure to continue to function at the well-known high level. The workload has recently led to health problems among our employees. It is therefore very important that employees and managers work towards greater vitality and flexibility in order to be able to anticipate and manage change in a good way. Of course, we have initiated a number of initiatives, pilots and activities to work on this. BDUrotatiedruk B.V. is een rotatie drukkerij met 43 medewerkers die gespecialiseerd is in het drukken en afwerken van huis-aan-huiskranten in grote oplages. In de grafische industrie hebben we al vele jaren te maken met lagere prijzen en de noodzaak om steeds efficiënter te werken met minder mensen. Door de snel veranderende behoeften bij onze klanten veranderen wij als drukkerij ingrijpend. Flexibiliteit, snelheid, kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid zijn daarbij noodzakelijk om te kunnen blijven voortbestaan. Onze werknemers ervaren daardoor meer druk om op het bekende hoge niveau te blijven functioneren. De werkdruk heeft de afgelopen tijd tot gezondheidsklachten bij onze medewerkers geleid. De veranderingen vragen veel van de veerkracht en het leervermogen van medewerkers en leidinggevenden. Het is daarom van groot belang dat medewerkers en leidinggevenden werken aan grotere vitaliteit en flexibiliteit om op een goede manier op veranderingen te kunnen anticiperen en ermee te kunnen omgaan. Wij hebben vanzelfsprekend een aantal initiatieven, pilots en activiteiten geïnitieerd om hieraan te werken. Het is nu zaak om samenhang te creëren voor medewerkers en leidinggevenden, zodat ze optimaal via één effectief en aansprekend programma aan hun inzetbaarheid kunnen werken. (Dutch)
