Property / summary

Born in 1996, Icelander develops and produces play equipment that teaches children and young people to discover and develop themselves and the world around them. Icelander has grown in recent years. The internal organisation is more structured according to fixed structures and employees have started to work according to these permanent structures. This requires different behaviour and a different way of working, and that also turns out to be: employees feel that they can work less creatively and less solution-oriented. Because Icelander has had a focus on the development of the internal organisation in recent years, it is now time to reinvest in the development of its employees. Because the organisation is still under development, Icelander wants to do this step by step and start developing the sales team. In order to understand what is expected of the Sales employees and what the Sales employees themselves expect, we start with two sessions that map out what is expected of them as a department and what they need to serve internal and external customers properly. In addition to the two sessions, the staff will also be interviewed individually. This is done on the basis of a Talent and Motivation Analysis. This analysis makes it possible to understand what the development potential of the employees is and what employees want to develop themselves in. The outcomes of the sessions and of the individual interviews are incorporated into a plan of action. Depending on the needs, employees are individually guided or the sales staff will jointly follow a three-day workshop in which the personal development questions are combined with skills to make the sales team more sustainable.
