TenCate Thiolon richt zich op de groeiende behoefte voor bescherming en veiligheid van mensen en van hun leef- en werkomgeving. De wereldwijde trends naar ‘veiligheid en bescherming’ en ‘duurzaamheid en milieu’ zijn leidend bij de beschermingsoplossingen die de divisies van TenCate bieden. De vier marktthema’s zijn In transit, In habitats, At work en During leisure. Ten Cate Thiolon BV richt zich met name op Kunstgrascomponenten en (geïntegreerde) kunstgrassystemen voor topsport, recreatie en landscaping. De productie hiervan vraagt om inzetbare, vitale en productieve medewerkers, deze vormen de basis. Dit kunnen wij met een bijdrage vanuit het ESF nog beter bewerkstelligen: de verwachte resultaten van dit onderzoek zorgen ervoor dat de duurzame inzetbaarheid van de werknemers van Ten Cate Thiolon BV vergroot of behouden wordt om zo balans tussen de persoon en zijn (werk)omgeving na te streven. Door een integrale aanpak waarin een op-maat gemaakt risicoprofiel en een interventieplan aan de werknemer wordt aangeboden, wordt beoogd mogelijkheden te creëren die doorlopend in het arbeidsleven zorgen voor behoud van gezondheid, welzijn, plezier en optimaal functioneren in werk.
