Safe Thuis Kennemerland is the advisory and hotline for domestic violence and child abuse in the region of IJmond, Zuid-Kennemerland and Haarlemmermeer. Safe Home is available for professionals and residents who have to deal with domestic violence or child abuse on their own or in their environment. In April 2018, the Minister of VWS Hugo de Jonge launched an ambitious plan to tackle domestic violence and child abuse, “Violence doesn't belong anywhere”. With a clear task: • To reduce domestic violence and child abuse, limit their harm and thus break the circle of violence and transmission from generation to generation. • To have a better picture of domestic violence and child abuse and to ensure that everyone knows what to do in cases of (suspecting) domestic violence and child abuse. The standard must be to act even in case of doubt. We face a challenge in terms of staff and workload. The course and absenteeism are too high. In addition, it is important that we have enough formation with the right knowledge and enjoy the work. It is therefore very important for us that employees work towards greater vitality and flexibility in order to be able to anticipate and manage changes in a good way. Safe Thuis Kennemerland wants to develop and test a program in practice together with employees and executives from everyday practice. (English) | |||||||||||||||

(Dutch)
