In de arbeidsmarktregio Friesland werken gemeenten en instellingen van het voortgezet speciaal onderwijs en het praktijkonderwijs samen om de kansen van kwetsbare jongeren op de arbeidsmarkt te vergroten. Met behulp van subsidie van het Europees Noodfonds REACT-EU wordt in het schooljaar 2020/2021 extra ingezet op passende werkervaringstrajecten en gecertificeerde branchecursussen in de kanssectoren; groen, detailhandel, horeca, zorg en techniek. Gemeenten en onderwijsinstellingen stemmen hun activiteiten en instrumenten op elkaar af, waardoor voor de individuele leerling een optimale route naar arbeid ontstaat. (Dutch)
