Increase opportunities for jobseekers with the use of European funding. Leiden city centre applies for the REACT-EU subsidy for the arbeisdmarktregion Holland Rijnland. With the REACT-EU grant, municipal organisations in the region will carry out activities to accompany beneficiaries, young people under the age of 28, barriers to work and foreigners to work. The organisations provide intensive support to the participants and provide tailor-made solutions. Trajectory guidance is geared to the regional labour market. Vergroten van kansen voor werkzoekenden met de inzet van Europese subsidie. De centrumgemeente Leiden vraagt de subsidie REACT-EU aan voor de arbeisdmarktregio Holland Rijnland. Met de REACT-EU subsidie zullen gemeentelijke organisaties in de regio activiteiten uitvoeren om uitkeringsgerechtigden, jongeren tot 28 jaar, arbeidsbelemmerden en vreemdelingen te begeleiden naar werk. De organisaties begeleiden de deelnemers intensief en leveren maatwerk. De trajectbegeleiding wordt afgestemd op de regionale arbeidsmarkt. De groep werkzoekenden is door de coronacrisis groter geworden. De doelstelling is om in deze projecten meer dan 2500 deelnemers intensief te begeleiden zodat zij een stap kunnen zetten op de participatieladder en/of een duurzame plek vinden op de arbeidsmarkt.
