Structural discrimination makes the target group’s entry into the labor market more difficult. According to to DO, discrimination can take place on the basis of gender identity or expression, ethnic affiliation, religion or other beliefs, disability, sexual orientation and age. Discrimination based on gender creates reduced gender equality, discrimination based on disability creates reduced accessibility. The fact that women are particularly affected is confirmed by the fact that their employment rate is lower than that of men. The target group’s high degree of ill health creates reduced accessibility. The project will focus, first on identifying, and creating awareness about, structural discrimination, then taking action with the aim of contributing to increased equality and accessibility.
