In order to improve the sustainable employability and self-reliance of employees, a new project is started from an external consultant. Creating lasting change is a huge challenge, which is why this project supported by the European Social Fund is needed. MBCAC wants to further develop its business as an excellent service provider. The way in which this success can be achieved in such a context is through a truly strong collaborative culture and a healthy working environment which should also be able to bend along with the rapidly increasing capacity limit of the number of employees. The external consultant will use individual coaching programs and optimisations to improve this. The solution lies in the concept of Activity Based Working (ABW) which looks at the needs of the individual employee and focuses on activities that this person feels good at increasing pleasure in working, promoting learning culture and reducing work stress.     Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center Maastricht N.V. (MBCAC) is het contactpunt voor alle bestaande en potentiële klanten in Europa. Een mutilingual staff verzorgt een breed scala aan customer services zoals klachtenafhandeling, enquiry fulfillment en het vervullen van customer loyalty programs. 24-uurs service en de coördinatie en het management van assistentie langs de weg 365 dagen per jaar vormt een belangrijk aspect van de werkzaamheden. Zeer moderne technologie en een team van professionals maken het mogelijk dat de geleverde diensten van de allerbeste kwaliteit zijn. Destijds zijn er meerdere inefficiënties gevonden in de werkzaamheden die door betere organisatie van het werk opgelost kunnen worden. Om de duurzame inzetbaarheid en zelfredzaamheid van medewerkers te verbeteren wordt er vanuit een externe adviseur een nieuw project gestart. Een blijvende verandering creëren is een enorme uitdaging, daarom is er behoefte aan dit door de Europees Sociaal Fonds gesteunde project. MBCAC wilt haar bedrijf verder ontwikkelen als een uitstekende dienstverlener. De manier waarop dit succes in een dergelijke context kan worden bereikt, is door een echt sterke samenwerkingscultuur en een gezonde werksfeer welke ook moet kunnen meebuigen met het in snel tempo stijgende capaciteitslimiet van het aantal medewerkers. De externe adviseur zal hier middels individuele coachingtrajecten en optimalisaties verbetering in doorbrengen. De oplossing ligt hierbij het concept van Activity Based Working (ABW) waarbij gekeken wordt naar de behoeften van de individuele medewerker en deze toespitsen op werkzaamheden waar deze persoon zich goed in voelt waarmee het plezier in werken wordt verhoogd, de leercultuur wordt bevorderd en werkstress wordt teruggedrongen.
