Property / summary

Lamb Weston/Meijer V.O.F. (hereinafter LWM) is one of the largest potato producers in Europe. The vast majority of her employees (650) work in one of the three factories. LWM has a Function Building of about 120 very specific functions with each post linked to a specific career path. Due to the large number of specific functions and the associated development opportunities, the growth prospects, employability and development paths of employees are limited. In the coming years, LWM intends to work to further increase the sustainable employability of its employees by limiting the number of jobs and working with generic job descriptions. The introduction of generic job descriptions will stimulate dialogue between managers and employees on employability, development and careers. This makes employees flexible and gives them more responsibility for their own development and growth perspective: LWM encourages employees to actively think and work on increasing their employability. Lamb Weston / Meijer V.O.F.
