The overall goal of the pre-study is to investigate the possibilities for cutting-edge circular economy in collaboration between academia, students, companies and other relevant collaboration actors in Västra Götaland and Halland. The pre-study wants to investigate the interest among existing networks, platforms and regional financiers to expand existing student project activities with direct links to the circular economy, examine the gap regarding the transition of SMEs to circular business models and the interest among companies in working more circularly, and examine the conditions for an implementation project. At the end of the pre-study, the basis for collaboration with a partner and a funding partner is expected to be established. Benefits at the conclusion of the pre-study are anchoring on circularity with regional business, strengthened cooperation within existing networks, and increased participation of students in circular economy initiatives. Det övergripande målet med förstudien är att undersöka möjligheterna till spetsinriktning inom cirkulär ekonomi i samverkan mellan akademi, student, företag och andra relevanta samverkansaktörer i Västra Götaland och Halland. Förstudien vill undersöka intresset bland befintliga nätverk, plattformar och regionala finansiärer att utöka befintlig studentprojektverksamhet med direkt kopplingar till cirkulär ekonomi, undersöka gapet gällande små och medelstora företags omställning till cirkulära affärsmodeller och intresset bland företagen av att jobba mer cirkulärt, samt undersöka förutsättningarna för ett genomförandeprojekt. Vid förstudiens slut förväntas grunderna för samverkan med en samverkanspart och en finansieringspart vara etablerad. Nyttor vid förstudiens slut är förankring om cirkuläritet med regionalt näringsliv, stärkt samarbete inom befintliga nätverk, och utökat deltagande av studenter i insatser inom cirkulär ekonomi.
