Through this project, the partners want to make strong efforts to strengthen the green and digital transitions and at the same time to increase the long-term innovation and resilience of SMEs operating in Blekinge’s Smart Industry and Tech specialisation areas that have been or are at risk of being affected by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The main reasons for the Kickstart S3 Blekinge project are that the current crisis risks having very serious consequences for Blekinge’s business, entrepreneurship and innovation for a long time to come. Whereas the crisis risks increasing unemployment rates, causing a declining tax base, increasing segregation, a deterioration in gender equality and a deterioration in the quality of life of Blekinge’s citizens; The project will strengthen the resilience and resilience of SMEs in the county in the long term by developing the promotion system based on Blekinge’s smart specialisation strategy, S3. The project will work in three sub-areas. The first is to create and establish a comprehensive innovation platform for S3 work with actors from several sectors; academia, SMEs, industrial actors and the promotion system. The second sub-area aims to generally increase the ability of the promotion system to be able to work with development processes in the specialisation areas in the county and specifically increase the competence to work according to the methodology Missions as a tool to address major societal challenges. The third strand aims to bring together actors with excellence in Blekinge’s specialisation areas; researchers, businesses and public actors, in at least two collaborative platforms/partnerships. These will develop methodology for development and innovation processes to address major societal challenges for green and digital transitions. Samverkansparterna vill genom detta projekt göra kraftfulla insatser för att stärka grön och digital omställning och samtidigt långsiktigt öka innovationskraften och återhämtningsförmågan hos små och medelstora företag som verkar inom Blekinges specialiseringsområden Smart Industri och Tech och som påverkats eller riskerar att påverkas av effekterna av coronapandemin. De viktigaste skälen för projektet Kickstart S3 Blekinge är att den pågående krisen riskerar att få mycket allvarliga konsekvenser för Blekinges näringsliv, entreprenörskap och innovationskraft under lång tid framöver. Krisen riskerar att öka arbetslöshetssiffrorna, orsaka ett vikande skatteunderlag, ökande segregering, försämrad jämställdhet och försämrad livskvalitet för Blekinges invånare. Projektet ska stärka återhämtningsförmågan och resiliensen hos SMF i länet på lång sikt genom att utveckla främjandesystemet med utgångspunkt i Blekinges smart specialiseringsstrategi, S3. Projektet kommer att arbeta inom tre delområden. Det första handlar om att skapa och etablera en övergripande innovationsplattform för S3-arbetet med aktörer från flera sektorer; akademin, SMF, industriaktörer och främjandesystemet. Det andra delområdet syftar till att allmänt höja förmågan i främjandesystemet för att kunna arbeta med utvecklingsprocesser i specialiseringsområdena i länet och specifikt öka kompetensen för att arbeta enligt metodiken Missions som ett verktyg för att adressera stora samhällsutmaningar. Det tredje delområdet syftar till att samla aktörer med spetskompetens inom Blekinges specialiseringsområden; forskare, företag och offentliga aktörer, i minst två samverkansplattformar/partnerskap. Dessa ska utveckla metodik för utvecklings- och innovationsprocesser för att adressera stora samhällsutmaningar för grön och digital omställning. Processmetodiken ska genomföras och testas under projektperioden samt ska adressera ett av de utpekade temaområdena i Blekinges S3; Klimat, Hav och Vatten. (Swedish)
