Development of innovative technology for long-term storage of ex vitro seedlings under controlled climate conditions and spectrally optimised LED source radiation in greenhouses.
Property / summary

SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose_public_aid: Article 25 of Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ Urz. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). The aim of the project is to develop an innovative technology for long-term storage of ex vitro seedlings under controlled climate conditions and spectralally optimised LED source radiation in greenhouses. Research work will be carried out on popular varieties of the most important ornamental perennial plants: Heuchera, Heucherella, Tiarella, Echinacea, Rudbeckia and Begonia. In order to make the storage of plants independent of external conditions and to have full control over the test parameters, a unique research and production room called ‘glazrothron’ will be used in the course of research and development, which is a growing hall adapted for the cultivation of plants under semi-sterile conditions. It is a room isolated from the outdoor environment with full climate control equipped with a vertical system for growing container plants. Thanks to the special, dedicated software created by the Applicant, it is possible to regulate the light spectrum smoothly. Szklarniotron has remotely controlled fogging, ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems thanks to dedicated software for mobile devices, which allows for constant and remote climate control. The objective of the project will be achieved during the implementation of the four stages of R & D work — three research phases and one development. The results of the project will be implemented by the applicants in their own business (process innovation) and will be sold to third parties on the basis of a licence. The Applicant will be the sole owner of the works for the R & D results. (English)

SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). Aby uniezależnić przechowywanie roślin od warunków zewnętrznych i mieć pełną kontrolę nad badanymi parametrami, w przebiegu prac badawczo-rozwojowych zostanie wykorzystane unikalne w skali kraju pomieszczenie badawczo-produkcyjne zwane „szklarniotronem”, będące halą wzrostową przystosowaną do uprawy roślin w półsterylnych warunkach. Wyłącznym właścicielem prac do wyników prac B+R będzie Wnioskodawca. (Polish)
