Development of innovative foliar fertilisers and dosobic starter fertilisers in solid form containing functional gelling additive
Property / summary

SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose_public_aid: Article 25 of Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ Urz. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014).The aim of this project is to carry out research and development on solid foliar fertilisers (powder, microgranules) and microgranules of soil fertilisers containing a functional additive in the form of a gelling agent. This will be a unique solution, since so far gelling substances in the production of fertilisers are used to obtain fertilisers in the form of gel (liquid form). Although these substances confer beneficial physico-chemical properties to fertilisers and their aqueous working solutions (form of gel), they have a liquid form with all its negative characteristics, i.e. they contain a lot of water and thus have a limited nutrient concentration; are often stratified and precipitated — suspensions; they undergo secondary crystallisation — solutions; high risk of soil and/or water contamination when containers are sealed; storage at temperatures above 5 °C; risk of excessive movement in soil (subsoil application) under irrigation or heavy rainfall conditions. As a result of the project, the first foliar fertilisers in solid form containing a gelling additive will be created on the market. These fertilisers will be deprived of the negative characteristics of liquid fertilisers, and the gelling agent will increase their retention on the leaf, limit the crystallisation of ingredients on the surface of the leaves, increase the penetration of ingredients into the plant. Microgranules of starter fertilisers with the addition of gelling agent (not present on the market) will allow greater control of the release of ingredients and their movement in the soil. Therefore, the products developed will complement the market for fertilisers in line with the expectations of agricultural producers and the current socio-economic policy, with a particular focus on environmental measures. SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. Będzie to unikatowe rozwiązanie, gdyż dotychczas substancje żelujące w produkcji nawozów służą do uzyskania nawozów w formie żelu (forma płynna).
