The development of alternative tourism in the country is directly linked to the huts — the places for accommodation, shelter and rest at the base of the mountain tourism. The lack of quality services, the wretched state of the building stock, etc., are among the main reasons for the creation and implementation of new policies regarding the management of the high mountain huts, not only as means of shelter, but also as places with a key role in the development of sustainable alternative tourism in the Bulgarian mountains. In this context, this project has the following objectives:1. Promotion of partnership management with civil society organisations in the field of high mountain tourism, in particular the management of huts in Bulgaria.2. Establishing open, effective and efficient policies for sustainable mountain tourism through responsible management of the country’s huts.3. Making recommendations for improving the processes of service provision in Bulgarian huts and improving the regulatory environment regulating their functioning.Target groups:- Ministry of Tourism; Bulgarian Tourist Union; Committee on Economic Policy and Tourism — SC; Bulgarian tourist companies; Public, tourist Activities:1.Study of good practices in the management of huts and tourist clubs (companies) — France, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, Austria.2.Preparation of a compedium of recommendations for improving the policy of management of high mountain tourism, in particular chalets.3.Convening a conference with stakeholders and target groups to present good practices and recommendations.Results:1.Study of good practices in the field of the management of chalets and tourist clubs in France, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, Austria.2.Created recommendations for improving the management policy of high mountain tourism, in particular huts.3.Communicated and presented results and recommendations among stakeholders and target groups.     Развитието на алтернативен туризъм в страната е пряко обвързано с хижите – местата за настаняване, подслон и почивка в основата на високопланинският туризъм. Липсата на качествени услуги, окаяното състояние на сградния фонд и др., са сред основните причини за създаване и прилагане на нови политики по отношение стопанисването на високопланинските хижи, не само като средства за подслон, а и като места с ключова роля за развитието на устойчив алтернативен туризъм в българските планини. В този контекст, настоящият проект има следните цели:1. Насърчаване на партньорското управление с гражданските организации, в сферата на високопланинският туризъм, в частност управлението на хижите в България.2. Създаване на открити, ефективни и ефикасни политики за устойчив високопланински туризъм, чрез отговорно управление на хижите в страната.3. Отправяне на препоръки за подобряване на процесите по предоставяне на услуги в българските хижи и подобряване на регулаторната среда, регламентираща тяхното функциониране.Целеви групи:- Министерство на туризма; Български туристически съюз; Комисия по икономическа политика и туризъм - НС; Български туристически дружества; Общественост, туристиДейности:1.Проучване на добри практики в областта на управлението на хижите и туристическите клубове (дружества) – Франция, Италия, Швейцария, Словения, Австрия.2.Изготвяне на компедиум от препоръки за подобряването на политиката на управление на високопланинския туризъм, в частност хижите.3.Провеждане на конференция със заинтересованите страни и целеви групи за представяне на добрите практики и препоръки.Резултати:1.Проведено изследване на добри практики в областта на управлението на хижите и туристическите клубове във Франция, Италия, Швейцария, Словения, Австрия.2.Изготвени препоръки за подобряването на политиката на управление на високопланинския туризъм, в частност хижите.3.Комуникирани и представени резултати и препоръки сред заинтересованите страни и целевите групи.
