The main objective of the project proposal is to increase the energy efficiency in the public buildings of the cultural infrastructure, in particular the Chitalishte “Hristo Botev 1884”, in the town of Botevgrad and to improve the working conditions of employees and amateur groups and bring the building into compliance with the regulatory requirements for accessible environment. The building of Chitalishte “Hristo Botev 1884” was put into operation in 1976 and is in poor condition. In order to comply with modern EE requirements, accessible environments, etc., a major renovation of the building is necessary, which includes: implementation of EE measures, including thermal insulation of external walls, roof structure and arker, replacement of window frames, repair of lighting electrical installation and implementation of energy-saving lighting throughout the building, replacement of pipe network and boiler(s) for a large hall, replacement of ventilation equipment, etc. The project will also implement the accompanying construction and installation works related to the implementation of energy efficiency measures and restoration of the initial condition damaged as a result of the renovation. The main results of the project are related to achieving the energy class “A” of the building of the Chitalishte, saving 60.15 % of the current consumption of the building and reducing the harmful emissions generated by the operation of the building by 108.84 t/year.     Основната цел на проектното предложение е повишаване на енергийната ефективност в обществените сгради от културната инфраструктура, в частност на Читалище „Христо Ботев 1884”, в гр. Ботевград и подобряване на условията за работа на служителите и самодейните състави и привеждане на сградата в съответствие с нормативните изисквания за достъпна среда. Сградата на Читалище „Христо Ботев 1884” е въведена в експлоатация през 1976г. и е в лошо състояние. За да бъде приведена в съответствие със съвременните изисквания за ЕЕ, достъпна среда и др. е необходим основен ремонт на сградата, който включва: изпълнение на ЕЕ мерки, в това число топлоизолиране на външни стени, покривна конструкция и еркер, подмяна на дограма, ремонт на осветителна електроинсталация и изпълнение на енергоспестяващо осветление в цялата сграда, подмяна на тръбна мрежа и котел/и за голяма зала, подмяна вентилационни съоръжения и др. В рамките на проекта ще бъдат изпълнени и съпътстващите строителни и монтажни работи, свързани с изпълнението на мерките за енергийна ефективност и възстановяване на първоначалното състояние, нарушено в резултат на обновяването. Основният резултати от изпълнението на проекта са свързани с постигане на енергиен клас „А” на сградата на читалището, спестяване на енергия в размер на 60,15% от сегашното потребление на сградата и намаляване на вредните емисии, генерирани от експлоатацията на сградата, с 108,84 t/год.
