El objetivo de esta operación es transformar las calles Principal y Joaquín Loriga, dos de las calles más céntricas de Lalín, en plataformas peatonales, transformando así el centro urbano en un espacio más verde, para el ocio y el fomento del comercio, al ser un diseño en el que se prioriza el tránsito de peatones sobre el de vehículos.
