Labour availability problems in Bulgaria force employers often to work with employees and workers with capacity below company labour and professional standards, while at the same time company budgets do not allow the necessary investment for training and development of human capital. The integration of the Bulgarian labour market into the single European market, the rapid uptake of new information and communication technologies and the ongoing processes of restructuring the national economy raise the question of the ability of employees to face the changes that are under way. In this regard, there is a need to increase employers’ demands on the workforce, but also to invest in skills to work with new manufacturing and information technologies, as well as knowledge of foreign languages. The project "Improvement of the professional qualifications, competences and skills of employees in "Water Supply AND CANALISATION" Ltd. — Silistra will solve the above problems as 82 employees of the company undergo training for acquiring professional qualifications in part of the profession: “Installer WIK Networks”, “Electronic fitter” and “Office Secretary”, 25 people have received training in key competence 2 “Communication of foreign languages” — English language learning, and another 31 staff have received training in key competence 4 “Digital Competence”. Improving the professional qualifications, competences and skills of employees in the company will have a positive impact on both the efficiency, productivity and competitiveness of the company and of each employee individually. The acquisition of new knowledge and skills related to the upgrading of professional qualifications and key competences will lead to both improving the adaptability of employees and prolonging their active activity. Проблемите с наличността на работната ръка в България принуждава работодателите често да работят със служители и работници с капацитет под фирмените трудови и професионални стандарти, а в същото време фирмените бюджети не позволяват необходимите инвестиции за обучение и развитие на човешкия капитал. Интегрирането на българския пазар на труда към единния европейски пазар, бързото навлизане на новите информационни и комуникационни технологии и продължаващите процеси на преструктуриране на националната икономика поставят въпроса за способността на заетите лица да посрещат настъпващите промени. В тази връзка е необходимо да се повишават изискванията от страна на работодателите към работната сила, но и да се направят инвестиции по отношение на уменията за работа с новите производствени и информационни технологии, както и познанията по чужди езици. Чрез проекта "Подобряване на професионалната квалификация, компетенциите и уменията на заетите лица във "ВОДОСНАБДЯВАНЕ И КАНАЛИЗАЦИЯ" ООД - гр. Силистра ще бъдат решени горепосочените проблеми като 82 работника на дружеството преминат обучение за придобиване на професионална квалификация по част от професията: "Монтажник ВИК мрежи", „Електромонтьор” и „Офис секретар”, 25 човека преминат обучение по ключова компетентност 2 "Общуване на чужди езици" - изучаване на английски език, а други 31 служители преминат обучение по ключова компетентност 4 "Дигитална компетентност". Подобряването на професионалната квалификация, компетенциите и уменията на заетите лица в дружеството ще окаже положително въздействие както върху ефективността, производителността и конкурентоспособността на компанията, така и на всеки един служител поотделно. Придобиването на нови знания и умения, свързани с повишаване на професионалната квалификация и ключовите компетенции ще доведе както до подобряване на адаптивността на заетите лица, така и до удължаване на активната им трудова дейност.
