ЗП "Сотир Попов" се занимава с отглеждане и производство на обикновена (мека) пшеница и слънчоглед, като обработва земи на територията на община Провадия, област Варненска. За 2018г. предприятието ЗП "Сотир Попов" ЕООД е микро предприятие, като неговата еднолична собственичка и управителка Антония Дянкова Калчева е млад земеделски стопанин. Дружеството планира да разшири своя производствен капацитет, като чрез изпълнението на настоящия проект закупи следната техника:-тороразпръскваща машина;-брана дискова прикачена;-обръщателен плуг;-култиватор и-навесна пръскачка.Меката пшеница и слънчогледа са едни от най-важните селскостопански култури в национален и световен машаб. Фирмата сади висококачествени сортове, като добивът от декар на пшеницата е около 620 кг/дка, а от слънчогледа - 200 кг/дка. С новозакупената техника ще се увеличи производителността на стопанството, ще се създадат две нови работни места, ще се увеличат продажбите и съответно възвръщаемостта от извършваната стопанска дейност от фирмата.
