Ogrzewany z lokalnej kotłowni węglowej dostarczającej energię do kilku obiektów spółki. (Polish)

The energy efficiency improvement project concerns a garage and workshop building located in the city of Janów Lubelski, at ul. The Heroes of Porytowy Hill 46/48, on the plot number 2103/9. The building is a one-storey building, not cellared in a serial building, made in the 70s of the last century in traditional brick technology, an area of 532.1 m². Heated from a local coal boiler room supplying energy to several of the company’s facilities. Equipped with a hot water-channel installation, electric. The building, which is used to conduct business activity of PGKiM in Janów Lub, is an energy-intensive object (the annual heat demand for building heating is as high as 360,00[kWh/(m2year)], hence it requires the start of thermo-modernisation works. The building now serves as a workshop and garage for vehicles, which are used to carry out works for which the company is established. The facility is used throughout the year. Use in colder months requires very energy-intensive heating. After the thermal modernisation, the energy demand for heating will be significantly reduced with the replacement of the energy-intensive heating system and light sources. Main tasks to be carried out: insulation of external walls with styrofoam, roof warming through the use of sandwich panels, replacement of window joinery and garage doors, replacement of the installation, replacement of built-in lighting with LED, installation of photovoltaic installation. All above-mentioned actions will lead to a significant reduction in the energy demand needed for heating (reduction of 535.64GJ, 77.68 %) and electricity (43.69 GJ reduction, 98.71 %). The total final energy consumption will be reduced by 78.95 %. The project will reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, including a reduction of CO2 emissions of 79.64 % and a reduction in PM 10 77.68 %. (English)
