As Respostas Sociais tornaram-se imprescindÃveis ao equilÃbrio da vida familiar devido ao envelhecimento da população e ao ritmo da vida em sociedade. Os serviços de Apoio Domiciliário prolongam a manutenção das pessoas no seu domicÃlio mas, têm sido manifestamente insuficientes para aqueles que ficam mais dependentes, e por isso a ERPI será uma mais valia enorme para a comunidade mais idosa e necessitada.
