Hlavným cieľom projektu je zvýšenie atraktivity a prepravnej kapacity cyklistickej dopravy, prostredníctvom vybudovania cyklistickej komunikácie v meste Čadca (1.Etapa). Realizácia predkladaného projektu prispeje k zlepšeniu dostupnosti k občianskej infraštruktúre, k prestupným uzlom ako aj k dostupnosti do vzdialenejšieho priemyselného parku v severnej časti mesta (PZ II.) a priemyselnej zóny nachádzajúcej sa priamo vo východnej časti mesta (PZ I.).Hlavný cieľ projektu dosiahneme realizáciou jednej hlavnej aktivity: Aktivita 1 Cyklistické komunikácie – budovanie nových cyklistických komunikácií (vo výzve označená ako A1).Podporné aktivity projektu zamerané na riadenie projektu a publicitu bude mesto financovať z vlastných zdrojov.Cyklistická komunikácia bude začínať v križovatke ulíc Paláriková (cesta II/487) s ulicou Okružná a ukončená je v prvej etape pri napojení v križovatke Nábrežie a Námestie Slobody, pričom bude viesť pozdĺž cesty II. triedy II/487 v západnej časti Mesta Čadca popod sídlisko Kýčerka smerom do centra mesta. Okolo trasy sú situované obchodné centrá, úrady, školy, knižnica, nemocnica, športový areál, plaváreň, lekárne, služby, zastávky autobusov, vlaková a autobusová stanica, ako aj vzdialenejší priemyselný park a priemyselná zóna.Cieľovou skupinou sú obyvatelia mesta Čadca. Výsledkom realizácie projektu bude 1,7486 km vybudovanej cyklistickej komunikácie (P0043) (Slovak)

The main objective of the project is to increase the attractiveness and transport capacity of cycling transport, through the construction of cycling communication in the city of Čadca (1.Etapa). The implementation of this project will contribute to improving accessibility to civic infrastructure, to the interchangeable nodes as well as to accessibility to the more distant industrial park in the northern part of the city (PZ II.) and the industrial zone located directly in the eastern part of the city (PZ I.).The main objective of the project will be achieved by implementing one main activity: Activity 1 Cycling communications – building new cycling roads (in the call called A1).Support activities of the project aimed at project management and publicity will be financed by the city from its own resources.Cyclistic communication will start at the intersection of Paláriková street (road II/487) with the Okružná street and finished in the first stage when connected in the intersection of Nábrežie and Square of Liberty, leading along the road II. Class II/487 in the western part of the town of Čadca under the settlement Kýčerka towards the city center. Around the route are business centers, offices, schools, library, hospital, sports complex, swimming pool, pharmacies, services, bus stops, train and bus station, as well as a more distant industrial park and industrial zone.The target group are residents of the city of Čadca. The result of the implementation of the project will be 1,7486 km of built cycling communication (P0043) (English)
