(French)

In 1960, Sèvre Loire Habitat (OPHLM) built a set of 210 collective housing units divided into 4 buildings in the Favreau district of Cholet. These dwellings were the subject of a first major rehabilitation in 1995, to meet the standards of the time and to replace the equipment that became obsolete over the years. Since then, the doors of the entrance halls have been replaced in 2002 and the intercom gatekeepers have been modernised in 2013. Now, renovation is needed to improve the living environment of the inhabitants. The project covers 170 of the 210 collective housing units. The update of the heritage plan includes the renovation of the building and the demolition of a 40-unit building located at 1, 3, 5, and 7 rue Dumont d’Urville. (English)
