Le projet porte sur un programme de recherche sur les ressources halieutiques du littoral corse. Celui-ci se décompose en 9 programmes détaillés , centré sur la protection, la valorisation et la gestion intégrée de certaines ressources naturelles de grande importance économique et/ou patrimoniale, ciblées par rapport aux attentes des professionnels de la mer (pécheurs, aquaculteurs et gestionnaire de l’environnement).
