Projekt je usmjeren na osvještavanje građana o održivom gospodarenju otpadom na području gradova Pazina i Buzeta te općina Cerovlje, Lupoglav, Gračišće, Sveti Petar u Šumi, Karojba, Motovun, Tinjan i Lanišće. Svrha projekta je osigurati zajedničko provođenje izobrazno-informativnih aktivnosti na području obuhvata projekta o odgovornom postupanju s komunalnim otpadom s ciljem smanjenja nastanka otpada, pravilnog odvajanja otpada u kućanstvima, povećanja kućnog kompostiranja i ponovne uporabe predmeta. Time će se postići dugoročni ciljevi Europske Unije smanjenja proizvedenog komunalnog otpada, povećanje stope odvojeno prikupljenog komunalnog otpada i smanjenje stope komunalnog otpada odloženog na odlagalište. The project is aimed at raising awareness among citizens on the sustainable management of waste in the areas of towns and cities in Pazuna and Beni, and the municipalities of Cervlje, Lubomlav, Gračije, Saint Pierre in the forest, Karojba, Movun, Toinjan and Lanišće. The purpose of the project is to ensure that training courses are carried out jointly in the catchment area of the project on the responsible treatment of municipal waste with the aim of reducing waste generation, proper separation of waste across households, increasing home composting and re-use of items. This will achieve the long-term objectives of the European Union of reducing the municipal waste generated, increase the rate of separately collected municipal waste and reduce the rate of municipal waste landfilled.
