Cilj projektnog prijedloga je doprinos lokalnom i regionalnom gospodarskom razvoju kroz unaprjeđenje turističke valorizacije kulturno –povijesne baštine povezane s likom i djelom biskupa Josipa Jurja Strossmayera. Svrha projekta je provedba stručnih istraživanja, te pripremapovijesne baštine povezane s likom i djelom biskupa Josipa Jurja Strossmayera. Svrha projekta je provedba stručnih istraživanja, te priprema studijske i projektne dokumentacije neophodne za provedbu radova koji će se provoditi u drugoj fazi predloženog integriranog programa.
