The field of geosurveying services (cartography) is an activity that requires a constant investment in improving equipment technology technology and monitoring market trends. Work with an outdated technology poses a risk of losing market share due to increased competition from producers with new technologies and new services. Investing in new equipment would offer a new service to the firm in order to preserve existing jobs, create jobs and increase sales revenue. (English)
