Le projet CYLAF consiste donc à mettre au point de nouveaux alliages HSS graphitiques qui permettraient aux cylindres de mieux résister aux contraintes thermomécaniques (et donc de limiter les reprises d’usinage et de raccourcir les temps de cycle) et d’améliorer la qualité de la tôle produite. Le projet doit permettre aussi de développer un outil de simulation de la coulée centrifuge et des méthodes de caractérisation des alliages et des cylindres. Le projet est mené de manière partenariale avec le CRITT MDTS. Le projet se déroule en 3 phases avec des tâches associées. (French)

The CYLAF project is therefore developing new graphitic HSS alloys that would allow cylinders to withstand thermomechanical stresses (and thus limit machining repeats and shorten cycle times) and improve the quality of the plate produced. The project will also develop a tool for the simulation of centrifugal casting and methods for characterising alloys and cylinders. The project is carried out in partnership with CRITT MDTS. The project takes place in 3 phases with associated tasks. (English)
