The urban community Grand Paris Seine et Oise (CU GPSEO) proposes to develop a project to network libraries in its territory. This networking includes a strong digital axis, which will allow, on the one hand, the pooling of existing collections at the level of each municipality and, on the other hand, greater access by the inhabitants to knowledge and learning resources. This Digital Library will complement a wider library training and self-training system for residents of city policy neighbourhoods in two specific areas: knowledge of ICTs and languages (including French as a foreign language). In addition, by opening its collections in the widest possible way via the digital platform and by facilitating movement within the territory, it will enhance the equal access of inhabitants to basic knowledge and knowledge.
