Hankkeella lisätään Sievin ja Pohjois-Pohjanmaan alueen yrittäjyyttä. Hankeen tavoitteena on tarjota hammasrattaiden valmistukseen liittyviä palveluja lähialueen teollisuudelle, yrityksille ja yksityishenkilöille. Hankkeella mahdollistetaan hammasratastuotannon käynnistäminen ja kehittäminen tulevina vuosina. Käynnistystoimenpiteet sisältävät muun muassa tuotantolaitteistojen investoinnit. Kehittämistoimenpiteet sisältävät yrityksen tuotteiden ja palveluiden tarjontan laajentamista lisäksi kehitetään valmistus- ja testausmenetelmiä tasolle, joita ei lähialueen teollisuudella ole muutoin käytettävissä.Hankkeen myötä saadaan uusi tuotantotoiminta käynnistymään ja tarjottua asiakkaille palveluja, joita ei ole lähialueella saatavilla, uusi palvelu luo yrityksille uusia mahdollisuuksia.
