Inwestycja dotyczy głębokiej termomodernizacji budynku użyteczności publicznej - Urzędu Miasta, zlokalizowanego przy ul. Katowickiej 45 w Czeladzi. Zakres przedsięwzięcia obejmuje: a) wykonanie izolacji podłogi na gruncie, b) docieplenie ścian piwnic, ścian zewnętrznych oraz stropodachu, c) zmiana układu okien przy wejściu do budynku oraz pełna wymiana stolarki okiennej, d) wymiana stolarki drzwiowej, e) wymiana źródła ciepła dla c.o., f) modernizacja instalacji wewnętrznej c.o. g) wymiana podgrzewaczy objętościowych do przygotowania c.w.u. h) montaż instalacji wentylacji mechanicznej z odzyskiem ciepła w sali sesyjnej, i) wymiana przestarzałych opraw oświetleniowych (560 szt.) na nowe (LED). Projekt, dotyczący budynku o łącznej powierzchni użytkowej 3188,97 m2, prowadzi do zwiększenia efektywności energetycznej o ok. 81,47% i przyczynia się do redukcji emisji CO2, z poziomu 231,47 t/rok do poziomu 68,34 t/rok, tj. o 163,13 t/rok.
