This project consists of the expansion of the selective municipal waste collection point in Brussels, taking into account the necessary technical infrastructure and equipment and the carrying out of information and communication activities (action with cross-financing) on the prevention of waste, the proper handling of waste and recovery and recycling. The overall objective of this project is to improve the efficiency of municipal waste management systems. The project will have the effect of reducing the emergence of “wild landfill”, improving the quality of the environment in the municipality of Bruges and increasing the awareness of the municipality of Bruges in terms of sound municipal waste management as well as the increase in the quality of life of the inhabitants. As a result of the project, the number of persons receiving a selective collection of municipal waste will be 12874. The project also includes the development of a functional utility programme, the STC, the investor’s supervision and the promotion of the project. (English) | |||

Przedmiotowy projekt polega na rozbudowie Punktu Selektywnej Zbiórki Odpadów Komunalnych w Brusach wraz z uwzględnieniem niezbędnej infrastruktury technicznej i wyposażenia oraz na przeprowadzeniu działań informacyjno – edukacyjnych (działanie z zastosowaniem cross-financingu) dotyczących zapobiegania powstawania odpadów, właściwego postępowania z odpadami oraz odzysku i recyklingu. Celem nadrzędnym przedmiotowego projektu jest zwiększona efektywność systemów zagospodarowania odpadów komunalnych. Projekt wpłynie na ograniczenie powstawania tzw. dzikich wysypisk śmieci, poprawę jakości środowiska w Gminie Brusy oraz zwiększenie świadomości mieszkańców Gminy Brusy w zakresie prawidłowego gospodarowania odpadami komunalnymi, a także wzrostu jakości życia mieszkańców. W skutek realizacji projektu liczba osób objętych selektywnym zbieraniem odpadów komunalnych wyniesie 12874. Projekt obejmuje także opracowanie programu funkcjonalno-użytkowego, SW, nadzór inwestorski oraz promocję projektu. (Polish)
