The project’s material scope is the development of a feasibility study carried out by the selected scientific body for the research and development activities of Dexia. As part of the implementation of the project, it is planned to develop a methodology for machining processes as a basis for developing innovative processes for machining processes, i.e.: the ‘dry treatment’ without the use of cooling/lubrication fluids, the treatment of MQL (Minimum Quantitative Liqid) processing with oil head treatment and the use of tools with the cooling through of the cutting area through which the compressed air is being used to cool the cutting area. The methodology to be developed will take into account the treatment of materials for aviation which require special machining processes. For this type of materials, assumptions will be made on the process related to the treatment parameters for the geometric structure of the surface after treatment, treatment time, the cost of working with tools and consumables. Taking this into account, it will be possible to develop the technological objectives of the cutting process in which it is planned to get around A 10 % reduction in the use of cooling liquids and lubricants. The project’s feasibility study will include the possibility of using the existing enterprise base and the development of innovative machine tools for the use of modern high performance and low carbon technologies.
