_**General description and relevant public**_ The Second Chance School of the Meeting is aimed at young people: * aged 16 to 25 (from 16 years of age since 01 January 2019) * without qualification; * having left the school system for at least one year. (for 16-18 year olds this condition could be relaxed in order to be able to comply with the training obligation of this type of public) It is to these young people very far from employment, that the E2CR offers an individualised pathway closely linked to the economic world, thus enabling them to build a professional project that is both in line with their abilities, their will, but also and above all with the real and concrete possibilities of occupational integration. A trainee entering the E2CR will later be able to take part in training adapted to the professional project he/she has defined, or become directly employed (CDD, CDI, Contract Aided). _**E2CR pedagogical model**_ The relevance and effectiveness of E2CR is based on: * Taking into account each young person in its entirety with the support of a Social Facilitator in solving individual social problems (financial, family, medical, etc.); * A differentiated (individualised) pedagogy by which each young person progresses at its own pace in a small group (12 young people on average); * A contract pedagogy (engagement contracts, agreements, objective contracts) aimed at making each trainee accountable and autonomous; * A refresher in French, Mathematics and Informatics that adjusts to the level of each; * An effective alternance system in which young people in the E2CR adapt to the local economic fabric, to the offer offered by companies and not vice versa; * A desire to direct trainees towards mobility projects in order to overcome the employment problems that exist at Réunion and anticipate the solutions of tomorrow; * A pedagogical path that promotes the emergence of a realistic and directly concrete professional project; * The use of artistic, cultural and sports resources allowing everyone to work on socio-professional skills that can be transposed to the world of work. * Post-training follow-up: each young person who has signed the contract of employment is provided with post-training support for up to 12 months. * A direct link with the professional world that grows and solidifies throughout a pedagogical path consisting of 4 stages: Step 1: Diagnosis and integration period (3 weeks in the centre and 2 weeks in the company) which represents 60 hours in the centre and 70 in the company, for a total of 130 hours. Step 2: Discovery of trades, internships and consolidation of basic knowledge (3 weeks in centre and 2 weeks in business) x3, i.e. 15 weeks for a total of 270 hours in the centre and 210 hours in the company. Step 3: Confirmation of the professional project (2 weeks in the centre and 3 weeks in company) x3, i.e. 15 weeks for a total of 180 hours in the centre and 315 hours in the company. Step 4: Implementation of the vocational project, preparation for employment and training (13-15 weeks) i.e. 31 hours on average. This theoretical “complete” course per trainee represents 541 hours in the centre and 595 hours in the company, for a total of 1,136 hours. However, the average route for a young person at the E2C of Réunion is about 21 weeks for a total of 640 hours given the relatively large outings at the end of stage 2. (English) | |||||||||||||||
