The newly purchased rolling stock will be aimed at the operation of the connections of the Małopolskie Sp. z o.o. (Małopolskie Province). In the first place, new trains will support passengers on lines: Wieliczka — Kraków airport/Airport (SKA1) and Kraków-Tarnow (SKA3). In addition, in order to make optimal use of the new rolling stock, it is not excluded that it will be used on other railway lines of Małopolskie Province, as the purchase of rolling stock will make it possible to expand the current connection network and to operate further lines by KM. The contract shall also include: Providing a guarantee for a period of 60 months from the date of final acceptance of each ETA and providing a comprehensive maintenance service over a period of 5 years (included in the price of each ETA); Licensing of software and technical documentation. The project foresees the following tasks: The purchase of the ETA, the costs related to the management of the project. Rolling stock will be adapted to the needs of people with reduced mobility, vehicles will be equipped with ramps and automatic lifts. The technical solutions adopted allow for the fulfilment of environmental requirements, harness the potential of its track and network infrastructure and provide comfort for travel in line with travellers’ expectations and European standards for regional transport. All vehicles must comply with the technical specifications for interoperability (TSIs). Przedmiot projektu obejmuje zakup 13 szt. fabrycznie nowych elektrycznych zespołów trakcyjnych) EZT w wersji czteroczłonowej (8 szt.) i pięcioczłonowej (5 szt.), przeznaczonych do obsługi połączeń pasażerskich w aglomeracji krakowskiej wraz z dokumentacją techniczną. Nowo zakupiony tabor skierowany zostanie do obsługi połączeń uruchamianych przez Koleje Małopolskie Sp. z o.o.(KM). W pierwszej kolejności nowe pociągi będą obsługiwać pasażerów na liniach: Wieliczka Rynek-Kopalnia - Kraków Lotnisko/Airport (SKA1) i Kraków-Tarnów (SKA3). Ponadto, w celu optymalnego wykorzystania nowego taboru, nie wyklucza się, że zostanie on użyty na innych liniach kolejowych wojew. małopolskiego, gdyż zakup taboru umożliwi rozbudowę obecnej siatki połączeń oraz obsługę kolejnych linii przez KM. Zamówienie obejmuje również: - udzielenie gwarancji na okres 60 m-cy, licząc od daty odbioru końcowego każdego EZT i świadczenie kompleksowej usługi serwisowej przez okres 5 lat (wliczonej w cenę każdego EZT); - udzielenie licencji na oprogramowanie i dokumentację techniczną. W ramach Projektu przewiduje się następujące zadania: - zakup EZT, - koszty związane z zarządzaniem projektem. Tabor dostosowany będzie do potrzeb osób o ograniczonej mobilności, pojazdy wyposażone będą m.in. w urządzenia typu rampa oraz windy automatyczne. Przyjęte rozwiązania techniczne pozwalają spełnić wymogi w świetle przepisów ochrony środowiska, wykorzystać możliwości stwarzane przez posiadaną infrastrukturę torową i sieciową oraz zapewnić komfort podróży zgodny z oczekiwaniami podróżnych i europejskimi standardami w tym zakresie dla przewozów regionalnych. Wszystkie pojazdy muszą spełniać wymagania zgodności z Technicznymi Specyfikacjami Interoperacyjności (TSI).
