Inwestycja zlokalizowana jest na terenie województwa małopolskiego i przebiega w północnej części miejscowości Miechów. Początek projektowanej obwodnicy wyznacza przecięcie z DW nr 783 i drogą powiatową nr 1186K na zachód od Miechowa, koniec stanowi przecięcie z DW nr 783 w miejscowości Bukowska Wola (węzeł projektowanej drogi ekspresowej S7). Projektowana inwestycja przecina DK nr 7 na odcinku Kraków-Warszawa, drogę powiatową nr 1182K, linię kolejową relacji Warszawa-Kraków oraz rzekę Cicha. (Polish)
