ArronaxPlus is an equipment of excellence selected in the Investissements d’Avenir (Equipex) equipment financing program (2012-2019). Led by GIP Arronax, it involves five partners: SUBATECH, the Nantes/Angers Regional Centre for Cancer Research (CRCNA), the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the CHU Nantes, the Institut de Cancérologie de l’Ouest, the Ceisam Organic Chemistry Research Laboratory and the Oniris Veterinary School. In particular, the research programme should accelerate the development of innovative strategies in molecular imaging and the production of radioactive elements for cancer research. Arronax Plus’s ambition is to develop multidisciplinary research in nuclear medicine and radiolysis to become a global R & D and valorisation hub in these fields. In conjunction with the Atlanpole Biotherapies competitiveness cluster, it contributes to the structuring of the radiopharmaceutical industry. The project presented concerns the extension and fitting-out of the Arronax premises located in Saint Herblain allowing the installation and operation of the scientific equipment acquired under Equipex.     ArronaxPlus est un équipement d’excellence retenu dans le programme de financement des Equipements d’Excellence (Equipex) des Investissements d’Avenir (2012-2019). Piloté par le GIP Arronax, il associe cinq partenaires : Subatech, le Centre Régional de Recherche en Cancérologie Nantes/Angers (CRCNA), le département de Médecine Nucléaire du CHU de Nantes, l’Institut de Cancérologie de l’Ouest, le laboratoire de recherche en chimie organique Ceisam et l’école vétérinaire Oniris. Le programme de recherche doit notamment permettre d’accélérer le développement de stratégies novatrices en imagerie moléculaire et en production d’éléments radioactifs pour la recherche contre le cancer. L’ambition d’Arronax Plus est le développement d’une recherche pluridisciplinaire en médecine nucléaire et en radiolyse afin de devenir un pôle mondial de R&D et de valorisation dans ces domaines. En lien avec le pôle de compétitivité Atlanpole Biothérapies, il contribue à la structuration de la filière industrielle radiopharmaceutique. Le projet présenté porte sur des travaux d’extension et d’aménagement des locaux d’Arronax situés à Saint Herblain permettant l’installation et l’exploitation des équipements scientifiques acquis dans le cadre d’Equipex.
