The scope of the project will be carried out from 01.10.2019 to 31.12.2021 (27 months) and consists of two tasks. Under the first, construction works relating to the reconstruction of the track and the preparation of the areas for the storage of containers awaiting transhipment, as well as the necessary accompanying infrastructure will be carried out. The second task will, on the other hand, include the purchase and installation of equipment necessary to operate a terminal, such as gantry cranes, vehicles for the handling of containers, and a traffic management and monitoring system. The direct target group of the project results will be the users of intermodal containers for intermodal containers in the terminal. The infrastructure will be made available to interested parties on the basis of open, transparent and non-discriminatory rules and the price for the use will match the market price. The recipients of the results will also be the residents in the region because of the positive indirect impact of the investment on the state of the environment as a result of the transfer of part of the transported freight from the roads to the railways. The amount of aid shall not exceed the threshold for investment aid for local infrastructure of EUR 10 million and shall not exceed EUR 20 million for the same infrastructure. (English)

    Celem Projektu jest utworzenie nowego terminalu intermodalnego w Sokółce, co umożliwi rozpoczęcie spółce Barter S.A. świadczenie kompleksowej usługi przeładunku kontenerów intermodalnych. Projekt wpisuje się w założenia strategiczne Działania 4.2 związane z ograniczeniem pracy przewozowej realizowanej przez transport drogowy poprzez przełożenie jej na inne gałęzie transportu za pomocą platform intermodalnych oraz poprawą dostępności transportowej regionu (docelowa wartość wskaźników „Liczba wspartych intermodalnych terminali przeładunkowych”: 1, „Dodatkowa zdolność przeładunkowa intermodalnych terminali przeładunkowych”: 51 840 TEU/rok). Zakres rzeczowy Projektu realizowany będzie od 01.10.2019 r. do 31.12.2021 r. (27 m-cy) i składa się z dwóch zadań. W ramach pierwszego z nich zrealizowane zostaną prace budowlane związane z przebudową torowiska oraz przygotowaniem powierzchni do składowania kontenerów oczekujących na przeładunek, a także wykonaniem niezbędnej infrastruktury towarzyszącej. Drugie zadanie będzie natomiast obejmować zakup i instalację urządzeń niezbędnych do obsługi terminalu takich jak suwnice bramowe, pojazdy do przeładowywania kontenerów (tzw. reachstackery) oraz system zarządzania i monitorowania ruchu. Bezpośrednią grupą docelową rezultatów Projektu będą podmioty korzystające z usług przeładunku kontenerów intermodalnych w terminalu. Infrastruktura będzie udostępniania zainteresowanym użytkowanikom na otwartych, przejrzystych i niedyskryminacyjne zasadach, a cena za użytkowanie odpowiadać będzie cenie rynkowej. Odbiorcami rezultatów będą także mieszkańcy w regionie ze względu na pozytywny pośredni wpływ inwestycji na stan środowiska naturalnego w wyniku przeniesienia części transportowanych ładunków z dróg na kolej. Kwota pomocy nie przekracza progu pomocy inwestycyjnej na infrastrukturę lokalną w wysokości 10 mln EUR oraz łączne koszty nie przekraczają 20 mln EUR na tę samą infrastrukturę. (Polish)
