Avec l'adoption d'une stratégie d'aménagement numérique visant à déployer progressivement le très haut débit en deux étapes 2020 puis 2022, sous maîtrise d'ouvrage départementale, sur l'ensemble de la Saône-et-Loire hors territoires préemptés par les opérateurs privés, le Département s'est fixé comme objectifs prioritaires de redynamiser l'économie locale , encourager l'innovation industrielle, répondre aux besoins de proximité et de mobilité. Ainsi, le Conseil départemental a validé un projet de création de 72 768 prises FTTH raccordable sur une période 2018 à 2020. (French)

Thus, the Departmental Council approved a project to create 72,768 connectable FTTH sockets over the period 2018 to 2020. (English)
