Socio-professional support is organised internally by the professional integration counsellor based on the effects of (re)entry to work. This situation must be fostered by a work environment that is consistent and comparable to the ordinary labour market. From this perspective, the employee undertakes in a clearly defined and identified contractual manner, consisting of an employment contract and internal rules. Socio-professional support is one of the major tools for returning to work. Gardeners are well in a unique situation that requires a particular answer and adapted to each of them. In addition to the concrete difficulties they encounter (work, housing, resources?), there are personal breaks in them that lead them to either deviant behaviour, or to abandon and fall back on themselves, to a retreat into alcohol or drugs in the illusion of finding a cure for their ailments and sometimes even to an entanglement in mental illness? For some, the return-to-work mechanism will allow them to get out of these situations. For others the support will sometimes take longer with heavier measures. Socio-professional support consists of setting up and promoting the use of all the social resources necessary for access to and return to employment. This approach is organised on the basis of a fine and evolving assessment of the situation and a regular individualised follow-up. This differentiated approach makes it possible to assess the need for comprehensive social work and the degree of care the person needs. This support allows, among other things, to unlock barriers to professional integration by promoting the resolution of extra-professional problems: health, housing? Socio-professional support requires know-how and know-how to be adapted. The site’s own tasks: The support for the insertion site is market gardening; the vegetables produced are sold to the members of the association in the form of baskets. This activity is an activity in its own right for people on CDDI. These employees, through this professional activity, find and reappropriate attitudes, codes and reflexes related to employment. The tasks associated with this site range from sowing to participation in deliveries, to weeding, picking and packaging. Gardeners may also carry out small maintenance work on equipment such as installing an irrigation system or changing a greenhouse cover. (English)

(French)
