This operation concerns the three-year funding of a post of doctoral student for the realisation of a thesis entitled: “accelerated ageing and durability of selective materials for receivers of concentrated solar power plants”. The research project will take place in the PROMES-CNRS laboratory located in Font-Romeu Odeillo, and Perpignan, whose work focuses on solar energy and its recovery. Its objective is to study the behaviour of absorbent materials in various aging protocols and to analyse their structure optically in order to propose improvements in the manufacture of these materials. It is part of the S3 innovation area: “Industrial and energy transition” whose ambition is to embark on the industrialisation path of high-efficiency solar systems and decommissioning of pollution in Languedoc-Roussillon.
