Cet îlot est situé à moins de 300 m de la gare RER du Vert Galant au sud et jouxte le QPV Grand Ensemble au nord. Aménagé dans les années 70 dans le cadre d'une ZUP, il est constitué de résidences en copropriété et du centre commercial du Vert-Galant. La gare RER a été aménagée en pôle multimodal en 2009. Malgré cette excellente accessibilité, le centre commercial souffre d’une conception initiale très pénalisante et de la paupérisation croissante du QPV.. (French)
