The ADHERE project (Action Against Stalling and Harassment: Education and Regulation by the Environment) aims to prevent violence, harassment and dropout in schools through a “hand-held” approach and not through a universal “program” regardless of situations. The goal is to increase the capacity of schools to prevent violence in schools and long-term dropouts. The project is flexible and co-built with the teams concerned, and begins with a precise and localised diagnosis through victimisation surveys and school climate. This diagnosis returned to the teams shows the reality of the problems and makes it possible to better identify the possibilities and needs for action and training. According to the needs of each establishment, tailor-made programmes are implemented through on-site training and long-term follow-ups. These trainings and projects will be carried out by various actors depending on the needs and skills sought: academics, academic trainers, associative trainers. The aim is to improve the school climate in its various dimensions (communication, involvement and cooperation, sense of belonging, collective management of problematic events and behaviours, connection with parents, etc.). Participating institutions: 14 colleges and on average 3 elementary schools attached to each, and exceptionally a high school. (English)

(French)
