Over the past two decades, the intensification of automation and miniaturisation of data production methods of different natures (molecular, physical, chemical, morphological, etc.) in the different fields of biology has changed all the paradigms of their analysis due to their volume and quality. The gigantic nature of the datasets collected (Big Data) means that their processing requires new technical and methodological tools to understand and derive meaning from them. In the RMU of Physiology of Reproduction and Behaviours (PRC), the needs for analysis and storage of such data relate to OMICS (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, phosphoproteomics, lipids), the structural biology of protein interactions and brain imaging of the small and large animals.
