(French)

As part of its marine flood risk management policy, the City has chosen to prioritise its intervention on the Jonsthon dike. Objective 1: reduce population vulnerability by reducing the risk of marine submersion. Objective 2: preserve the sensitive natural space of the West Salted Meadows. Objective 3: guarantee the maintenance of the pedestrian path, at the head of the dike.In order to meet this, the dike will be reinforced by a foot stop in stalks side of Arcachon basin and a co-linked rock slope. At the head of the building, a pedestrian path will be reconstituted. The West Pres Salés side slope will be covered with a three-dimensional geo-grid allowing it to withstand the overflow. (English)
