The aim of the project is to reduce the low emissions in cities by building the cycle path as a transport corridor of Nowolosal district and by increasing the environmental awareness of the inhabitants of the province in terms of the benefits of the ecological means of transport. The tasks are carried out as part of comprehensive projects linking infrastructure investments (Type I) with information and promotion activities (Type IV). The project is carried out in partnership between the 5 municipalities of Nowa Sóly- Miasto, the municipality of Nowa Sól, the Municipality of Otyń, Kożuchów and Kolsko and the Nowolski District as a leader. The need for a cycle route is based on the surveys carried out and the needs of the municipalities — project partners. The planned investment concerns the connection of the network of routes and the pedestrian routes to the municipalities of Nowolski District: Nowa Sól — Miasto, Nowa Sól, Otyń, Kolsko and Kożuchów, in order to provide access to workplaces, educational establishments and services in the district of New People and to ensure better communication between the municipalities and the region. The total length of the paths built is 48.20 km. Its route follows the non-active line of railway line No 371 Wolsztyn — Żagań, within the limits of the Nowolski District, in the region of Lubuskie. The investment will be linked to the existing network of cycle routes in the district and in the surrounding districts. Duration of the project: II kw.2016-IV kw.2019 The information and promotion campaign planned a comprehensive action with the use of ICT to increase the use of green transport in Nowososki district, while raising public awareness of the environmental protection of the inhabitants of the district and the region. Celem projektu jest ograniczenie niskiej emisji w miastach poprzez budowę ścieżki rowerowej jako korytarza transportowego powiatu nowosolskiego oraz podniesienie świadomości ekologicznej mieszkańców województwa w zakresie korzyści wynikających z ekologicznych środków transportu. Zadania realizowane są w ramach kompleksowych projektów łączących inwestycje infrastrukturalne (Typ I) z działaniami informacyjno-promocyjnymi( Typ IV). Projekt realizowany jest w partnerstwie 5 gmin Nowa Sól- Miasto, Gmina Nowa Sól, Gmina Otyń, Kożuchów i Kolsko oraz Powiatu Nowosolskiego jako lidera. Potrzeba funkcjonalnej drogi rowerowej wynika z przeprowadzonych badań ankietowych i konieczności potrzeb zgłaszanych przez gminy - partnerów projektu. Planowana inwestycja dotyczy połączenia siecią dróg rowerowych oraz ciągów pieszo-rowerowych gmin powiatu nowosolskiego: Nowa Sól – Miasto, Nowa Sól, Otyń, Kolsko oraz Kożuchów, celem zapewnienia dojazdu do miejsc pracy, placówek oświatowych i usługowych w powiecie nowosolskim i zapewnienia lepszej komunikacji pomiędzy gminami i regionem. Całkowita długość wybudowanych ścieżek to 48,20 km. Jej trasa przebiega śladem nieczynnej linii kolejowej nr 371 Wolsztyn – Żagań, w granicach Powiatu Nowosolskiego, w województwie lubuskim. Inwestycja będzie powiązana z istniejącą siecią dróg rowerowych na terenie powiatu oraz powiatów ościennych. Okres realizacji projektu: II kw.2016 r. - IV kw.2019 r. W ramach kampanii informacyjno-promocyjnej planowana jest kompleksowe działania z wykorzystaniem ICT, mająca na celu zwiększone wykorzystanie transportu ekologicznego na terenie powiatu nowosolskiego, przy jednoczesnym zwiększeniu świadomości społecznej, w zakresie ochrony środowiska naturalnego mieszkańców powiatu i regionu.
